Asteasier at the PNI2023 in Milan, Italy

Asteasier participated in the final stages of the PNI2023, Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione (National Innovation Awards), the annual business plan competition that showcases the best start-ups in Italy.

The event, held in Milan on 30 November and 1 December, is a follow-up to the recent win in the Start Cup Veneto and involved more than 70 start-ups as well as investors, industry experts and journalists. During the two days of the event, the Asteasier team, led by University of Verona and with the participation of Day One, had the opportunity to interact with dozens of visitors, entrepreneurs and potential investors interested in the Asteasier technology; the team also participated to the competition with a dedicated pitch.

Unfortunately, Asteasier did not enter the final stage but the experience at PNI2023 was nevertheless to be remembered. Asteasier team had the possibility to showcase its technology to an expert audience and received positive feedback that will be used in the future.

This is therefore just the beginning of a wider communication and dissemination campaign aimed at showing the industrial world the potential of Asteasier. The next appointment is on 12-15 December, at the Algaeurope conference in Prague, Europe’s leading microalgae conference, to which Matteo Ballottari – Asteasier project coordinator – has been invited as a speaker.
